Hey Guys,

I've noticed something interesting, I hear an echo on incoming calls, but when I'm the one calling I don't hear an echo at all.

Why is that? Could there actually be a difference in quality depending who makes the call?

Am I the only one that is experiencing the problem that I mentioned above?

I don't know why this is happening, I've changed the bandwidth settings and still nothing changes. All my incoming calls have echos of me talking, but when I make outgoing calls, it's crystal clear with no echo.

Any thoughts?

So far no echos at all for me, but I have the ATA in front of the router so it can do QoS.

We have had this and noticed it primarily on incoming calls.

Ideas anyone?

We're experiencing the same. Every time my mother in law calls, there's an echo of us. Call sounds fine to her.

She's the only one that has our vonage number and calls us from her office. I've done a test call from our cell phone and no echo. I wonder if it's something from where the call is originating from?

I forgot to mention that we'll get the same echo on incoming call even if we have our vonage forwarded to our land line. That rules out any issue with my home network setup or the specific phone plugged into my adapter.
