Mine seems to be working 100% since the .55 update on my RTP300. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it stays that way. Good luck to those continuing to have problems.

Post subject: no cid
i was one of the few that had absolutely no problems with my service until the upgrade and now my cid doesn't work.. (if i reboot it will work for 1 ring) but my cicw works everytime.. very frustrating.. i was to get a service reply within 2 days of my call and i'm currently on hold trying to get an answer... i will get rid of the service if this is not fixed immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well... I didn't have to wait on hold long but here's what happened.
The walked me through each step I was having a problem with. We tested each after an adjustment was made. Then I was told they were going to switch back all of the settings because they were not allowed to leave the corrections they made. What would be done is that they would make note of each correction and pass it on to add for fixes to the firmware.
So... who knows. Nothing accomplished and we wait it seems.

Post subject: working fine now!!!
I called
Vonage
customer service last night and they updated a patch into the newest firware .55 and totally fixed my cid problem!!! i suggest everyone who is having problems call and get the patch.. i personally had absolutely no problems until the firmware upgrade and then my cid stopped working entirely (would work for 1st call after a reboot), however my cwcid worked??
hopefully this is the ticket!!!!!

This morning it appears that my CID is not working. I also noticed that the firmware was upgraded to .55.
The CID was working fine before the upgrade. Sure wish they would test the firmware better before pushing it out to their customers.

They're caught between a rock and a hard place. They have customers screaming at them to push the firmware that will fix their problems. They've got others screaming that they don't want anything changed because it's working fine.

Maybe they ought to just push it out to those that call in and complain, and leave the rest of us with our working firmware.

well, my service was working without ANY problems or calls to
Vonage
since i got it in june!!! i didn't need the .55 firware upgrade so they should have just given it to those with service issues. i just hope everyone's gets corrected as soon as possible and they get other features as ACR added to the service!!!

I had great success on
Vonage
for months with an RT31P2 adapter. Then the adapter died suddenly. They shipped me an RTP300 and it has been downhill ever since. Short ring durations, some phones ringing and others not - sporadically also, sporadic caller id, white noise issues, etc. 1.00.55 did remove the white noise and customer support fixed my ring durations and phone ringing issues - after 6 hours of my time off and on with customer support.
I don't know about you folks, but this is getting very tiring. I just received a notice from Earthlink that they are offering $14.95/month unlimited service in our area now. Hmmmm...
