Just spoke with Customer Service and incoming calls within the 614 area code are ringing busy. Outbound calls are able to be placed without issue. This is a "known issue" and their engineers are working on a solution. There was no ETA for repair.

Of course, there are "No service announcements at this time."

For what it's worth....... Confused

Been there since yesterday. They even sent a new device overnight, so I must have been one of the first to call. It's not everyone in 614, two co-workers are working fine. They have until tomorrow morning and I'm crawling back to SBC. The wife is not happy to say the least.

Just bugged Customer Service again and "Mike" confirmed that the issue surfaced sometime yesterday and that they're down to working with local carriers. There is still no ETA for repairs. Mike said that all of the 614 area code is being effected and that they are hoping to have it resolved sometime tonight.

I know of at least two people with Vonage in 614 and they are both working fine. If it was the entire area code, they would have had it fixed by now.

Relax, bud... I don't work for Vonage and it's not my fault yer' phone ain't ringing. If you want to gripe at someone, call Customer Service. I was just passing the word that I got from them as a PSA.

<sarcasm> Besides, I'm sure that they're just sitting around with their feet propped up waiting for the 36-hour mark to pass before they look at the problem. </sarcasm>
