Started to occur about 2 weeks ago. No stutter tone when voice mail is left but I do get e-mail notification, however calling *123, listening to the message without deleting it, then stuffer tone automagicly occurs. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem?

I have an open ticket on this item and I'm pleased to say after a no wait answer to my call, the service rep was understandable, knowledgeable and provided excellent assistance. Quite an improvement over my previous Vonage Customer Service experiences.

Thats an interesting one...I have been getting stutter tones on every vm...sometimes it take a minute or two for it to clear, but that is about it

After listening to and clearing all new voicemail try pressing * (asterisk). This should immediately clear the stutter tone.

ArnB, what was the resolution with Vonage? We've been having the same issue the past few days and I just haven't had a chance to cll them.

I have not heard back from the technician or Level 3, nor have I received any voice messages, so I just don't know what's going on. Also because I live in a "dead zone" I can't use my cell phone from home to check the voicemail status.

This may sound silly, but have you reset the adapter? In the past when there were VM issues that seemed to work.

Well, we really are in the same boat. No reliable cell service at my house either. I did reset the adapter but that didn't seem to work last night. Have to try a test call when we get home.

Yesterday technician upgraded the RT31P2 from 1.30.00 to 1.30.01, then I had to reboot the thing after a few hours when all I sent was static for my voice, but could hear the other end just fine however no stutter tone. I even rebooted my phone, don't laugh it once fixed caller id waiting not working.

Left a voice message for myself from my cell phone while I was out, no stutter tone or voice mail waiting on the phone when I got home until I listened to my message.

Vonage had some serious issues with voice mail a few months ago that were apparently resolved. I hope this is not the start of anther round of voice mail problems.

Well, another reboot of the PAP2 adapter, router and cable modem seems to have worked for now, but I'll certainly keep an eye on it.

Stutter tone seems to be working here again from about 10 40 this morning..
