I've had my 911 addressing set up for almost a year now on one line and several months on another.

When visiting my dashboard and going into features today I noticed it says "Activate 911..." on the lines I have already activated 911 on.

Well, I figured maybe they are doing an upgrade and I need to resubmit...

I resubmit the information and after submission it reads "Error, please try again later."

This is extremely poor and dangerous practice - Vonage never notified me that i had needed to reactivate my lines and now I am unable to reactivate my lines for 911.

Same here. I try to activate it and then it gives me a page to verify my info. I click submit and then it errors out. What's going on!!!!!!!!???? I tried calling 911, after it rang about 10 times, it connected me to 911 service in Miramar!!!!! That's like an hour's drive from my house.

Same problem for me, too. My dashboard wants me to activate 911 but then errors. Vonage, don't play around with this. Fix it quickly.

This issue is critical. I recommend if any Vonage techs are reading this they take a look at this issue immediately. I won't be able to call Vonage CS until tonight.

Here is the problem:
1. My 911 address information is saying it is not activated even though it has been for 9-12 months.
2. It gives me the option to 'Activate Now'
3. I confirm the address information in there.
4. I submit.
5. Error reads: Sorry, an error has occurred. Please try again later.

I have attempted this about 6-7 times over the past 24 hours. Per the above posts it seems there are lot of people affected by this.

I just checked mine and it seemed it was still there. Is Vonage's servers regionalized?

Update:

I called Cust. Svc. and the lady re-entered my information and a few min later, I got an email saying that 911 svc. had been requested. About an hour later, I got another email saying that 911 dialing is now active.

I'm just glad I noticed this on my Features page... I think Vonage should send a broadcast msg about this issue for those who do not routinely log into their dashboard/features page!

I completely agree. Not a good thing that happened.

Luckily I am once again able to submit my information again. I have confirmations back that 911 is now activated again.

Still doesn't explain what happened in the first place, but at least I'm up & going again. I can feel a little more at ease...

Dial 933 from your Vonage line and it will tell you if it is enabled or not.
