Update

Called Customer Service, too. They said I am the 2nd person to report this. Put on hold. I was told that I do not have 911 service, which would indicate that the web site is not reporting falsely.

I told him that if this is true than they have a serious problem, since 911 services are being deactivated by the system.

He put me on hold again. Came back and said they would call me. They were investigating. Lots of people were calling in I was told.

What message do you get when you dial 933 on your phone?

Trowski,

I have the same situation reported above. My 911 had been activated for several months, but now the Dashboard tells me to activate and when I try (with the same data that worked before) I get the error when I submit.

Dialing 933 tells me 911 is activated, so this is very confusing??

the dashboard will always say that 911 is not automatic...Is that what you see?

911 Dialing is NOT automatic. You must activate 911 Dialing for each number on your account. To activate 911 Dialing or Edit your 911 Dialing Address, click one of the links below.

It is not the typical screen. There is an activate link and when you try to confirm your address and submit you get an error.

933 says my 911 is active, as it has been for 9+ months. Whether it actually works or not is unknown.

Thats what I was talking about, just too lazy to screen shot it...
Mine has been activated ever since I signed up, almost a year, and have the same screen, 933 confirms it, and by mistake dialed 9114 instead of 914 and got my local police department...

I don't think it is too much of a worry.

I dialed 933 on both phones and the recording said I had 911 enabled, so I have to assume that the web site is incorrectly reporting the status.

I went ahead and called this morning and was told it was not activated on my line and it was resubmitted.
