I've noticed a couple of new options:

Setup ->Basic Setup:
- you now have an option to disable DNS proxy. Disabling it means that the next time your clients renew their DHCP lease, they will get your ISPs DNS servers instead of the IP of the router

Access Restrictions -> Filter
- looks like there are some additional filters to drop "Anonymous Internet Requests" and to filter multicast

Administration->Management
- I see that theres the ability to enable/disable remote SSH access (to the router I presume). Since we don't know the ssh passwords, I'm assuming this is to be able to allow/block access to Vonage support????

Might be new QOS stuff too, but don't remember what was there before.

I just verified that my speaker phone still has the echo problem with 1.00.52. Sad

The handset has been echo free since 1.00.47, and I have no speaker phone echo problems using a land line on the same phone.

Which phone do you have Polaris? I have been using the uniden's speakphone all day sans issues...

I have A 5 year old Panasonic KX-TC1890B. I wish the speakerphone worked without echo because I really like it. Sad

I think I have an 1891B on my Verizon landline at home... never really used the speakerphone much, didn't care for the quality of it to be honest. I'm on the road, but will experiment with it as soon as I get home. As far as why you're having trouble with the RTP300 and not the landline, I think the RTP300 has higher output levels for phone audio than landlines do. I'll also test this as well. At home I'm usually using the ClearOne/Gentner GT1524 teleconferencer (which has built-in EQs, filters, DSPs, echo cancellation, automatic gain/level control,etc) -->Audio console-->amp-->B&W speakers, so there's an awful lot of equipment and controls in the way of me seeing the true levels without dropping the GT1524 into test mode.

I have an 1891B too and don't like it as much as the 1890B. Smile

I've never tried the 1891B with Vonage though...
