I loved Click to Call (C2C) when it worked, but since I moved to the RTP300, it doesn't work anymore and I have lost that functionality. It used to bug me that who ever wrote the app didn't bother to write the extra 5 lines of code to handle alphanumeric vanity number or to make it work with international dialing, but I lived with that because the basic functionality worked.
Now I see that there is an open web-based api for initiating calls. I am surprised that no enterprising programmer has written a better, more functional app that takes advantage of this to replace the Vonage C2C that doesn't work. I haven't written code in years, so I am not volunteering for the job, but there are enough of you coders out there to take up the challenge. |

Actually Vonage never wrote the click2call extension. It was written by a Vonage Voip forum member. |

Nevertheless, it seems that this application is not being maintained. There a slew of useful features that could be added. I think that someone out there would be inerested in the challenge of writing another application that would build on and improve the current one. |

I personally dont like the way it comes up as C2C18132728000 or whatever...wish the CID info would come up as normal. Other then that it seems to work great for me. I never use it because I forget I have it installed |

Hmm... I'm not sure why, but C2C works fine with my RTP300... it didn't used to, but in recent firmware versions it does seem to work fine. That said, I usually just reach over the phone & dial. Takes me less time to dial by hand than click, paste, etc. |

To indicate the laziness to click2 call and the reason for manual dialing |
