Is there a way to give an incoming caller an option to leave a vm or transfer to another number. What I would like to do is give a short message advising to 'press1' for vm or 'press2' to transfer to number xxx-xxx-xxxx.
Possible?? Thanks

How are you? Since Voip Technology is growing, many other options will be implemented in the future to catch up with demands. Currently we have a feature called "Ring Lists", this will allow you to program up to 10 lines in the order you specify until we reach you, for more information, visit this link: http://vonage.ca/features.php?feature=ring_lists Hope this helps, Oscar |

Ring lists won't help. I would like the caller to decide to either stay on the line and leave a message OR push some button to be transferred to another phone number. Any help would be appreciated

The answer to your question is NO. However, there is something called simultaneous ring, which would allow you to assign other number(s) whereby any phone call will ring at other assigned numbers at the same time. If any of the other numbers has an answering machine that can handle what you want you can just disable the voice mail. I know its not what you were looking for
I am just a user like yourself and thought that this might help. Sorry if it doesn't : (
