It appears that Vonage Canada has raised it's rate to the United Kingdom to 6 cents per minute from 4 cents per minute. I have called customer service about this but may have to wait 48 hours for more information. |

It's rather harsh when our increase doubled the American increase in terms of percentage, yet the Canadian dollar has gone up about 15% against the US dollar in the past few weeks. If anything our increase should have been lower than the US increase, not higher. |

Is anything about Vonage pricing (Vonage US to Vonage Canada) seem fair?
$24.99 USD doesn't come close to $39.99 CAD |

Bell just put my price for the UK up from 7 to 14c so even 6c is a deal!
Weirdly if you don't pay for the long distance plan with Bell - calls are cheaper!
Which is why I am here looking at Vonage threads - hopefully it will be better than Bell |

Hey there; My favorite topic to discuss, money. As you know, Vonage remains very competitive with all the Telecom companies. We base our prices on carrier plans weather you are in USA or Canada. Vonage still depends on carriers to route our calls and we pay for their services. We can still save alot by just voiping. In the future, perhaps eliminating the old traditional dialing numbers to a simple click of your mouse to make a phone call, save even more money. To answer your concerns, I would challenge any rates that are not competitive and reasonable. If so, I will investigate the cause and modify as needed, (approval required).
Happy TGD!

My understanding was that calls from Vonage to Vonage are free. I made a call to Vonage UK number for which I was charged. I called Vonage representative before making a call, he told me that its for free. But later discovered that I have to pay for it? |
