No, but I had it happen once about a week ago. I was talking to another Vonage customer at the time. |

Work line? Is that the Vonage line we're talking about, another Vonage line, or what? |

Pretty odd all right. Same adapter?
I wonder if Vonage gives a busy signal if they have some kind of network outage, either caused by their own equipment or by internet issues? |

yep...both on my rtp300...I have never had that happen before. I would get dropped, hear the busy signal immediately, then redial. |

It started happening to me yesterday. Happened twice today. Both times it happened, I had originated the call, California to Texas.
The connection, normally excellent with Vonage was poor: intermittent static, crackling, and then disconnect and a busy signal. The person called me back and the connection was fine incoming. I made a dozen other outgoing calls that were fine.
I don't know if it related or not, but this same person in Texas sees a Manhattan New York area code and number in their Caller ID screen when I call them. I am in California with a California area code, and others see my correct caller ID number when I call them, including Vonage Tech Support.
There appears to be some bizarre routing going on when I call Texas. |

Interesting indeed, as my calls were both placed to Dallas. |

My calls were to Plano, just outside of Dallas. |
