I am using Vonage softphone. This is installed on my PC. I can make outgoing calls using this. But if the call is incoming, how does it rings on my PC? is there any device is required?

rtfm http://vonage.com/identity/vonage/pdf/xpro-quickstartguide.pdf You need to have Vonage SoftPhone X-PRO running to answer an incoming call. The application will notify you of an incoming call by indicating the ID of the caller in the Call Data area and simultaneously flashing one of the Line buttons. To pick-up (answer) the call, simply press the “green phone” button (also known as the Dial button) and you will be connected to the calling party.

Actually, the incoming call should ring on your PC before you answer the call.
