Post subject: Callers just can't hear me
Anyone else had this problem?
I've had people call me, the phone rings, I answer it and they say nothing. I talk but they don't respond.
First reaction was I was getting unwanted callers. But calling back/checking the number calling they are people I'd expect to call me. It turns out it sounded to them like the phone was picked up but nobody said anything.

All the time. My problem started about 2 weeks ago.
Cable Modem->RT31P2->WRKG4G results inmy entire network going down manytimes a day. Cable Modem->WRK54G->RT31P2 results in network staying up but numerous phone problems. I hear them but they can't hear me, no dial tone and fast busy when trying to place a call.
Got through to a USA based Customer Care rep and they checked firmware etc.. changed packetization... still the same issues.
I'm no network engineer but the RT31P2 sure seems to be the problem. Usually my upload is around 384.. today must be a busy day.

Download 6,300,592 bps
Upload 255,552 bps
QOS 99%
RTT 48 ms
MaxPause 21 ms
If I get a resolution I'll post back.
