Are Vonage looking at reducing prices in the light of recent competition?
£6.99 seems to be the going rate now?

Paul,
It seems a shame Vonage have not replied to this thread yet, however, I e-mailed Vonage UK about this very issue and received the following reply on 4/10/05:-
"Dear Mark,
Thank you for contacting Vonage Customer Care!
In response to your e-mail, we feel that our prices are aggressively positioned at this time. We do not have any plans at this time to adjust our prices to match other providers.
We hope this has answered your enquiry. If you have any further questions please visit our website at www.vonage.co.uk where you will find answers to most customer enquiries.

If the price is to remain the same then maybe throwing in the softphone would be a nice alternative. I cannot imagine many people pay an additional £5pm for the Vonage softphone when you can use Skype or one of several other SIP providers with free softphones.
Regards,
