I currently have the PAP2 and no Qos in my current router.
Should I upgrade everthing just to the RTP300, (if so, where to buy, Customer Service say go to BestBuy, Staples, Futureshop, but none of them have it, they just have the PAP2 and the wireless LInksys router/voip)
Or should i keep the PAP2 and just buy a linksys wired router (WRT54G or the speedboost version)
I keep on asking them, and they keep on telling me to go to BestBuy and trade in my current PAP2 and buy the new one. Except no stores carry the RTP300 (that I have found)...
all i know is that they can do it over the phone with you, they wont do an exchange for you though - unless you have a defective piece of equiptment. But they will order u a new one, they have the power. I know because Mine is coming from there as we speak. I recieved the order number and everything.
Its also available at places all over the web if you look. im sure you can pick one up off Ebay if you want.
Staples had the WRT54G on sale for 60 bucks, so I went out and bought that instead (and kepted my PAP2) Only cut out once today, not to shabby... Still not perfect though.
