Hi,

I have question about monthly bill. I have 24.99 plan. Last time when I spoke with one of CS they told me that 24.99 is charge for the next month. Is that true.

How can I downgrade my plan. Do I have to call vonage or I can do it online.

Thanks.

It is true, not just for Vonage but for most telecom services. When I transferred from Verizon to Vonage, Verizon gave me a rebate for the unused days since they billed for the following month in advance. The same is true of my cable service (and probably yours). This is standard practice.

You should be able to switch to the Basic 500 plan on the web site. But I believe they charge a $10 fee to do so.

When you switch from Residential Premium Unlimited Plan to Residential Basic 500 Plan
    * You will get 500 Anytime Minutes Anywhere to the USA and Canada.
    * You will be charged a $9.99 service fee plus taxes to your credit card (on the day you switch).
    * After that, you'll pay $14.99 each month instead of $24.99. After 500 minutes of calls to the USA and Canada, we will bill you 3.9 cents per minute for each minute you use. Your monthly billing date will stay the same.
    * The change is effective immediately. All calls that you make, from that time onward, will be included in the Basic 500 Plan.
