If I get a second line, billed as a fax line, is caller id delivered on that line?

I believe all features are active on all Vonage lines. Maybe someone who subscribes to a fax line through Vonage can confirm this. |

No, the fax line is striped of most all features, thats what makes it a "clean" line for faxing.

Business customers sending faxes should ensure that their business phone number ( a real working number) and name (actual business name) are programmed into the fax machine or fax software in order to comply with Federal laws that pertain to certain types of business faxes.
Very few people use Caller ID to determine where a fax is coming from... they use the header information on the actual fax. |

I guess I did not explain myself, I apologize. I do not need to know if caller ID was good idea to use with a fax machine. I am not going to use a fax machine on that second line. I just need to know if caller ID is delivered on a line biiled as a fax.

Sorry for the delay in responding.
The second line (fax line) on a business account does in fact display the income caller ID and it transmits it's caller ID info. |
