Was this with your main phone number in the house or from the secondary number which is the fax line.
I actually have two number with numbers with Vonage but the second is a fax line. Let me know. I am very interested to see if this works.
Thanks,
Michael |

This is for my only line that i have, i dont have a FAX line..just a primary phone line. I called them and told them my problem, they did something with the ECHO on my line, dont worry, you do not lose voice quality, i didnt. Then they gave me the NY numbers for TIVO to dial in, I had one of the four that they gave me, but the one i posted above works like a champ. I scanned the net for fixed. One guy posted that all the # codes do not work with the new TIVO only the old ones but the *99 tells Vonage that you are doing a data call, is this correct? I dont know but it works!!! He even said, that with *99 you can dial your local numbers and they should work too...I still use the NY numbers, did a test call this morning and worked like a champ....
So far i have 100% working calls....knock on wood. |

Just curious if you have looked at your phone logs lately? For a while now, Tivo / DirecTV has been making excessive calls. Are you seeing this in your logs---but if you have the unlimited plan I guess it wouldn't matter. |

Try it a few times....I often don't get through the first try, but eventually get through. |
