Addition of more new area codes

I'm sorry didn't realise that was the case.

I assumed that if in you were inLancaster and wanted to call Hornby area it would just be a case of dialling 2xxxxx, and from Hornby to Lancaster would be a case of just dialling straight through also.

Seems strange you can't just dial whatevers after the 01524 when you already have 01524 as part of the number.

Would've been better to have 015242 numbers as a different code altogether in that case.

Anyway hope they manage to add proper Lancaster area numbers soon.

They seem to add far too many area codes that aren't likely to get many customers, because they're either remote or have a few hundred subscribers, or add smaller towns rather than the adding all the larger places 1st

Looks like aberdeen is now available. A total of 601 dialling codes covers most of the country.
