Yep, it's a hexadecimal number, so they are all numbers or letters A-F. If that is the MAC address of your Vonage adapter, it doesn't make sense that it isn't being picked up as premium traffic though. Can you post a screenshot of your current QoS screen?
Another thing to try would be ip address-based QoS:
manojav has a sample configuration here. It looks a bit different because it is Talisman/Freeman, but it works the same way. The Netmask Priority is the relevant portion. Basically, you plug in the WAN ip address of your Vonage adapter and use a netmask of 32 (like 192.168.1.100/32). |

Just thought of something else... Have you used the MAC Address Clone functionality on your Vonage adapter?
It wouldn't hurt to double check the Vonage adapter's current WAN MAC address by clicking on the Status tab in its web GUI. |

If you're on Windows, you can do a screen grab by pressing the "Print Screen" button. Then you just paste the image into something like wordpad. If you have a Mac, there is probably a slick way to do it, but I have no idea what that is...
You could try resetting your Vonage adapter to default settings (via the button on back or the GUI) for a clean start.
If you don't have any PC's connected to the LAN ports of the Vonage adapter (and don't have remote administration setup), then you won't be able to connect to it. You would have to temporarily connect a PC to one if its LAN ports and access it at http://192.168.15.1. If you end up trying ip address-based QoS, it would be easiest to give the Vonage adapter a static ip address for its WAN connection and use that address in the QoS screen of the WRT54G. |

So do you think ip is the next step... which is the routers ip.. is that the number I use to access the router through the browser.... and do I put it in netmask priority ? Would freeman make any difference....
This all seems so ridiculous that there can't be a simple way to shut the torrent down to a crawl when on the phone , other then manually pausing it... even if it could pause automatically.. |

I had to get out my magnifying glass, but I could see it.
What do you see on your WRT54G when you go to Status->Local Network in the GUI and click on the DHCP Clients Table button? If your Vonage ATA has the default configuration, that will give you the MAC and ip address of the Vonage adapter.
Also, it's not clear to me if you made a phone call before you ran tc -s class show dev imq0.
I would try a clean test to be 100% sure that the Vonage adapter traffic is not being tagged as Premium:
- Restart the WRT54G
- Run tc -s class show dev imq0 to get baseline data
- Make a short phone call
- Run tc -s class show dev imq0 to see what kind of traffic occurred during the phone call.

Is the 192.168.1.102 00:13:10:AD:4F:97 00:07:38 entry your Vonage adapter?
If so, try 00:13:10:AD:4F:97 as the MAC address in your QoS setup. |
