I just ordered my second Vonage line for my fax machine Vonage must be either reading my mind or my post’s here. it was active in minutes of ordering it.
I've read that the 2nd port might be able to support voice. Have you tried plugging a phone into the 2nd port and dialing a number to see what happens?
Just wondering and hoping you'll experiment for us.
When you have had a chance to try out some voice calls on it, please let us know about how they sound. There may be some people who would need something like this just to have a back-up line for when a Wife or child is on their main line.
Are you able to transfer a phone number for your fax line like in the voice line?
Just in case anyone was wondering the same thing, I got in touch with Vonage, and I was told that right now they don't have the ability to port an existing #. It sounds to me that in the future, this will be available.
