6 months ago. I have a HP PSC 2510. I cand send fax's just fine. I can man ually recieve fax's fine. But I cant automaticall recieve faxes. The call will come in, the fax machine grabs it, it says connected for maybe 30 seconds then says recieve failed. When I print the report out on it, it says basically it answered the fax but did not recive it. But if i manually answer the fax it works fine. Any suggestions? Ive done just about everything.

Ok get this. Just to test, I disabled the voicemail. I could recieve a fax automatically. I re-enabled the voice mail. I tried to automotically recieve a fax just for the hell of it and it still worked. Whats up with that? But I still have a problem. The fax machine picks up any call. Even voice calls. I have

set to ring 4 times. I set the fax to answer after 2. But after 2 rings the fax machine picks uip ever for voice calls. So I get the fax machine to pick up after 6 rings. Well it never answered the call and the call went to voicemail. Any ideas?
