Post subject: Any winners in the Vonage sweepstakes?
I have been playing every day and I have not won anything. (Not that I expected to)
Has anyone on the forums won anything or does anyone know someone that won?

I supposedly won a $10 Itunes card..but once I printed out the forms etc, you had to fax some math test back to the fulfillment company..seemed a bit odd...

Post subject: Yep...
It said I won a $10 Itunes card...then I got this...
Congratulations! You have been selected as an instant prize winner in
the
Vonage
Thanks A Million Sweepstakes, administered by ePrize.
You have won a $10 iTunes® digital code. Please use the promotional
code you will be receiving via email in the next 8-10 weeks. You may
redeem your digital code at
http://www.apple.com/itunes
You must redeem within six months of receipt.
Canadian Residents:
You will receive a cash equivalent in the mail 8-10 weeks after we
receive your skill test.
The Skill Test is attached to this email. Please return it within the
next ten (10) days. If you do not return the skill test within this
timeframe, another winner will be selected.
I left off the 2 PDF Files...
I did not redeem for 2 reasons, naysayers..One, becuase I hate math and two, I don't have a MP3 player, so an Itunes card doesn't do me any good...but there ARE winners out there...
Hey Luispr, what did you win?

I've not received squat so far... BUT, my number did port today... so goodbye Cingular with your $125/mo cell bills, which is by far the best prize.

Well, I did find the following in the official rules:
Quote:
7. Verification of Potential Winners:
Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. The potential Sweepstakes winner will be notified by email, telephone, or registered mail after the date of random drawing. The potential winners (parent/legal guardian if winners are minors in their state/province of residence) of the Grand Prize, First Prize and Second Prize will be required to sign and return to ePrize, within ten (10) days of the date notice is sent, an affidavit of eligibility, and liability/publicity release (except where prohibited), or Declaration of Compliance if Canadian resident, in order to claim his/her prize if applicable. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return the affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, or Declaration of Compliance, if Canadian resident, within the required time period, potential winner forfeits prize. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.
If a Canadian resident, a potential winner will be required to correctly answer a time-limited skill testing question without any assistance in order to be eligible to receive a prize. If a potential winner is a Canadian resident and the question is answered incorrectly, the prize will be forfeited.
In the event that a potential winner of the Grand Prize, First Prize or Second Prize is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. There will be three (3) alternate drawings after which the prize will remain unawarded. Unclaimed Instant Win Third through Fifth Prizes will not be awarded. Instant Win Prizes will be received 8-10 weeks after the conclusion of the Promotion.
I wonder why this would be required. I can only assume it has to do with Canadian sweepstakes and/or contest laws. However, not being a Canadian myself, this is purely speculation.

You have to beware of the Canadians, them with their shifty eyes...
Just kidding to my northern brothers and sisters!

This paper [Games of Skill and Chance in Canada]
will canvass in detail the sections of the Code applicable to “games,” and the way contests of various sorts theoretically exempt themselves from prosecution by the addition of a “skill-testing question” and a “free-entry alternative.”
