I just signed up for Vonage and can't wait for my ATA to arrive. I've already programmed my voicemail . I have the 24.99 a month plan, and I was wondering if incoming calls will count against the 500 minutes, or whether, like POTS, incoming calls are free?
Thanks! |

You are exactly right. The 500 minutes on the $24.99 plan is for outbound long distance calls. You are able to receive an unlimited number of inbound calls. |

Incoming calls are free. Calls to voice mail are free. Calls to other Vonage users are free. 1-800 calls are free.
Hope you enjoy the service as much as I do! |

I'm looking at getting a virtual number in another city. If someone calls me on that, does it count towards my 500 minutes if I get the 500 min plan? |

Not from what I understand, simply because inbound calls are unlimited on all of the plans except the toll-free number and maybe the Soft Phone (but I'm not really familar with the Soft Phone). |
