OK. My contact at Vonage reset the adapter to the default settings and it made the echo even WORSE. It certainly seems that this firmware upgrade did not address the issue.

I asked him to call my wife at home to do some more troubleshooting. I'll post any updates as a response to this thread. Anyone who is interested may want to mark this thread to be notified when a reply is posted.

Yep...my numbers are fine. Don't have them handy right now, but it was a 4.x overall with low discards and low latency.

Same deal here. I sent you a private message - I wonder if we're working with the same Vonage tech. He reset my settings and told me to try it again - I'm trying to get a good test done, waiting for my wife to go home so that I can call her and see if there is an echo.

I don't think Vonage would support any third party software on my RTP300.

My Config -
Modem --> RTP300 --> Server/Router --> PC's

My reverse echo issue seems better but it's not completely gone. The settings on my account are configured as follows:

RX Gain: -1
Tx Gain: -0
Analog Rx Gain: -28
Analog Tx Gain: 0
Echo Cancellation: lec
Impedance: 600

Technically, Vonage Tech Supprt may not walk you through other firmware on the routers if you call them, but it is an option for people to try.
