I have used C2C successfully for months. Now that I have moved to the RTP300, it no longer seems to set up calls correctly. It rings my Vonage phone and then I hear the ringtone for the other side. But, when the other side answers, I can't hear anything. I don't know whether the other side hears me or not - but I don't think so. If I dial directly, I have no problem, so I am assuming that there is a problem with the SIP server in the call setup.
My configuration:
Cable Modem --> D-Link wireless G router --> RTP300
Any ideas? |

Make sure you have the latest firmware for the RTP300. I think its 1.00.43
Click2Call didn't work with my RTP300 out of the box until I called the cust service and asked them to upgrade the firmware to 1.00.43 (someone mentioned here it would fix Click2Call). Since then, its worked great!

Do I need to go to customer care to upgrade the firmware or can I do that from my end? |

I don't remember the exact procedure to do it, but call customer service and they'll walk you through how to get into the firmware upgrade section of the router (since they lock down the administrative functions) and they will give you the password to get into that part of the router.
I didn't wait very long on hold when I called. Maybe 10 mins?
