Is there any way to check what firmware I have on my PAP2?

ok now then whats the current firmware? or where will I have to read for that?

To check the Firmware version of the PAP2, go off hook on a Vonage connected phone and hit the * key four times quickly. From here you can get info on the PAP2 and make some configuration changes. Press 150# and it will say the Firmware version. I understand that version 3.1.6 is the current version for this adaptor, and if you need an update you will need to call tech support and get them to download it to the adaptor. Mine is working very well with 3.1.6.

Thanksfor the infor, but my PAP2 died that day... R.I.P. I got home late and when I came home none of the phones worked, but they had worked about 2 hours before when I called home, dang thing failed it's self test.. I had to call tech support for a replacement. I spent around 10 -15 minutes with tech support I could not understand. I finally got a replacement after I pushed the idea that the PAP2 I bought came with a 1 year warranty that linksys says Vonage takes care of. Gatta love that warranty sticker Smile

where can i find the updates that have been made to version 3.1.6?

'though 3.1.6 isn't specifically on there, the 3.1.7 text has many of the changes made since 3.1.5.

So it looks like there is a 3.1.7 firmware, but Vonage is using 3.1.6. Anybody know if they will push 3.1.7 for the PAP2s?
