A bit off the topic for the forum, but after going through Hurricanes Jeanne and Frances last year and seeing the amazing work the Red Cross and other relief groups performed, I just wanted to see if we can do something to help out.
This is a link directly to the Red Cross, not a partner etc..
Thanks forum members!

I work for the Madison County Red Cross and you cannot do a link without permission from Washington.

Thanks for posting this, Trowski. The folks on the Gulf Coast are in our thoughts and prayers, and it's clear that financial assistance will be greatly needed.
Also, a reminder to those who work for corporations: Your employer may match your donation -- definitely worth exploring to maximize the help to folks in the impacted areas.

Thanks guys, most of you anyways....
Stephenjr,
Give me a number and I will call it, email it, fedex it, walk there, whatever needs to be done...But personally I think that your post was so inappropriate at this time in need. I would tend to think that you would try to encourage, instead of discourage, the donations. I read the website and I saw what the information. Stephenjr, you want to have someone in Washington call me about the legality, PM me and I will give you all of my contact information.
DISCLAIMER!
This is NOT a formal solicitation, and I am not trying to imply that
www.vonage-forum.com
is involved in asking for donations, nor is the forum officially using the Red Cross name. This is not a formal link per the websites rules. I encourage anyone who is interested in helping out the Red Cross do their own formal internet search to find the website so there is not any confustion..I am not a Red Cross employee etc, and this is NOT for anyone's financial gain. Just thought maybe we could help someone get clean water, ice, a hot meal, emotional support etc. I am just a forum user who has seen the power of the Red Cross in action, and have nothing but extreme respect for the organization and volunteers that make it all possible. Just one human being trying to help others who need it the most...
