rt31p2-vd between RR & belkin 125HSM; Siemens Gigaset 4215 phone

New user - Everything appears to be working fine. When I tried to check my work voice mail from home, my programmed responses for extension & password were not accepted.

I then proceeded to manually punch in the codes but they were still rejected. I know it is not the handset as it was working fine from the same handset using the land line. After 4 or 5 tries of entering the codes manually, my responses were accepted.

Any configuration changes or tricks you know could help?

I am kind of worried what would happen when I try to enter CC #s etc

I have not had any problems with automated vm systems when calling on Vonage. I know some phones don't allow this, but try holding the number key just a smidge longer or adjusting that setting. Of course, you can check your bandwidth saver settings too. Try uping your bandwidth, wait a few hours, and try again - see if that fixes it.

I have the issue, but only in certain area codes...which makes me believe it's Vonage's issue...I have an open trouble ticket with Vonage, so we'll see what happens.

Thanks for the postings - I am impressed with the timeliness of your responses.

My bandwith is set at the highest so I don't think that is the problem.

I'll have to check the phone manual as it has a million different configuration options. Maybe there is one for the length of the tone or something??

when I activited my credit card I had to hold each button for about 1 second. Though I was having problems at the time with my entire internet infostructor. So it may have been at also.

Sounds like issues with the DTMF tones...You can call Vonage and they will fix it for you.

I have this problem occaisionally, rebooting my telephone adapter clears it up.

I now have a problem with DTMF tones, just started yesterday..

on Thursday night everything was fine, then yesterday afternoon they would not work, tried re-booting, nothing, tried another phone, holding down buttons, nothign works..

I'll have to call when my wife gets home with the cell phone, wont' be able to get through Vonage menu's with the Vonage phone.. lol..
