hey i had sbc ameritech but somehow my bill got ran up and the phone cut off. and when i tried to get other phone svc the said i had to clear up sbc bill. first before i could use xyz company. thanks to Vonage i got more they i ever could have got from sbc for the cost. Plus im sick of the bell companies arrogance. i need a second line either a Vonage or sbc preferabley sbc just incase power goes out. but they dont have any prices on the sbc page for 1 line. Arrogance. they feel they have a monopoly on the industry. the bells have us or had us by the gonads. Im so glad i dont have to deal with the push sbc people and all their crap and high prices. mind u im a poor guy with cable internet. Vonage. i cut off cable tv. could afford all 3. but now i might get it with the Vonage phone 69 for cable svc and 50 for Vonage that 120. a month. thats enough in itself for phone and internet. if i wanted to be a cheap skate i could get a iconnect here account and a dial up connectin which would be 30 plus 3 bucks for phone.bucks a month for the same unlimited ld. just not all the Vonage . perks. one problem i have is that sometimes my calls just die i hear them but they dont hear me or vice versa. anyone know how to stop that.
plus i dont mind that my calls route to my voice mail. phone tag is a sign of professionalism. anyway i ran u 900 minutes on Vonage today for business. and wow not to many drop calls. the service worked excellent. minus the few drop calls or the people forwarded to voice mail. i can deal with it.

the bums are always tring to lock u into a contract. i mean with sbc its easy to have 2 lines and do minimal usage on them and rack up a 200 dollar bill. and for what. even with a the contract that is suppose to be saving u money. the call the discount program complet link. i call it complet jinx. the jinx u with a high monthly toll and local quota and if u dont make it or make enough calls dont worry they will charge u. even for the calls u didnt make. which i thougt was dumb. why would i want to be charged for calls i dont make. anyway i dont have that problem anymore. and now have freed up some money to spend on other stuff like a cell phone for business. I could not afford a cell phone before because of the sbc complet jinx rip off where they make u pay for calls u dont make. and the guy does not tell u that he just tells u to sign up on this or that discount plan when its really a high usage contract designed for the high volume calls type of office. and even then with the high call volume the savings dont add up trust me i had the bell companys as im sure u have all been ripped by them
