I just got the Motorola VT1000 and when i went to hook it up all worked as expected expect for the line 2 jack on the back of the unit. Is there anything i can do other than resetting it in software or unplugging it to fix this?

With a fax line you have unlimited inbound calls. However outbound calls is limited to 500 minutes on business accounts and 200 (or 250, I can't remember which one) on residential lines.
