Caller ID name!

Just a quick question. I tried to search the forums and could not find a topic (probably just me being stupid on my search terms)

How do I get my number associated with my number to friends and family on caller ID?

I assume you meant associating your name with your number. Vonage does not send the name with an outgoing caller ID. This has been a complaint of many people on the forum. I don't think Vonage has any short term plans to change this.

Anyone know if there's any plans to address the outgoing callerID problem? This is one area I'm very disappointed in with my Vonage service. I've been with Vonage since January and I expected more progress with new features than I've seen since then.

About a month ago I emailed support asking if they had any plans to support outgoing caller ID name. They wrote back stating that they have no immediate plans to change it. This may have changed since then, but I haven't heard about any plans to change it.

This is not really a "problem" it is just the way this feature works. Vonage does not send a name on the outbound caller ID.

That being said, I would also like to see some new features from Vonage. I have been waiting for ACR since I signed up.
