Yes, received mine about a month ago, no problems so far but waiting for my number to be ported over before I hook up all 5 phones in the house and start using it on a daily basis. |

Yes I've been operating one for about 2 weeks. Just teetering on the decision about continuing Vonage at all. I guess the router is OK. Worked mostly right out of the box. Has to be powered down and booted about once a week.OK. They don't allow you to address it for settings. It went in in addition to the Blitz router for the computer. My complaints are ;choppy calls and echo. Not all the time. The "Vonage help" bunch blame it mostly in the ISP SHAW and said not to download stuff while talking on the phone. I asked if there was any way that I could give priority to phone demands rather than computer but the HELP bunch didn't seem to want to hear that question David |

Thanks for the replies, I should be getting mine tomorrow. Never tried Vonage before, just trying to save some money on my long distance charges. |

Recieved my RTP300 today and set it up right out of the box. Have it sitting behind my wireless WRT54GS and it works fine, the calls are clear and crisp. I have a feeling I'll be one happy customer. |

Received mine just over a week ago. Plugged it in my Netgear RP114 and everything is working fine. Made and placed several calls. Just a bit of an echo on cell phone at the other end. |

sorry, but it prolly is your ISP that is the problem.. where abouts are you located? are you in abig neighbourhood? do all yoru neighbours use Cable Internet too? D/L'ing will affect your quality cuz it takes all your bandwidth, have you set your bandwidth saver to a different setting?
as far as QOS, you can get routers that have QOS, then you could set the port your ATA is on to have priority over your computer, this will slow your D/L's but atleast your calls will be clearer.. |

I'm on Vancouver Island near Victoria. I was ready to pack it in and two days ago a router consultant told me that the Vonage RTP300 should be the first thing in line after the cable moden in conflict with the instruction sheet. I switched things around so the the Vonage modem is now direct out of the cable mode. Then out of it are the computer and wireless moden in parralel so to speak. Bingo: Perfect telephone communications on clips or echos just rock solid comunications.

I'm now happy enough that I'm going to give the "Softphone a try". |

Having followed the instruction that came with the RTP300 and pluged it in my existing router, how does one access it to see if is running the up to date firmware? Thanks |
