I have purchased a second PAP2 adapter from a local retail outlet. The first one I bought had an invalid MAC ID when attempting to activate on www.vonage.ca/activate/. The new one is giving the same error. Why is it that I have called support 8 times, and no one can help me activate my account? Why do you not want my money? This is just crazy. Can't someone just add this MAC ID to the database? Really, this has got be a common problem if 2 seperate adapters I have purchased gave the same problem. Is there an escalation queue that I can leave a message for? What gives?

I have been an advocate for Vonage for about 2 years without actually subscribing myself. I now have a need for Voip because I am working from home, and stil have not been able to activate my adapter. I have now called Vonage support 8 times without having my issue resolved.

The last three times I have been told they are sending my MAC ID to the network engineer and someone should get back to me. Well all three times I have not gotten a call back. Actually, I told the last 2 guys that I have not yet heard back from the first 1-2 times, and both told me that they would "personally" see to it that they call me if my issue has not been addressed.

Well that's it. After 8 phone calls and 3 emails (no response by the way), I am fed up. I have told this story to a few of my friends that have Vonage now, and they are surprised with the outcome.

If there is a nice admin out there that would like to help Vonage take my money, please tell me how to activate my MAC ID when it shows an error.
