Have you reset your Vonage equipment?
Have you reset your modem?
Just a quick thought on the way to normal. |

Do a search for one way audio. |

Could you post some details about your configuration (location, isp, connection type/speed, LAN setup, etc)?
For example, this can happen with a multiple router setup. |

I have had the same problem with the RTP300. If you have an additional router plugged into it, you may experience one-way audio.
I agree, it's frustrating, but it's actually really easy to fix. You can do a couple of things; one of the easiest things to do to fix your problem is to log into the router (http://192.168.15.1), go to the the Applications and Gaming tab, select the DMZ page, and activate the DMZ host for IP address 192.168.15.1. That will most likely fix your problem.
I've been a Vonage customer for over 2 years. I've been through it all. I've had every problem that everyone has ever had. I agree that this particular problem is a major annoyance, but I hope that you are able to get things running smoothly so that you can begin to enjoy the benefits of the technology. I can almost assure you that if you enable the DMZ host as described above, things will start to work as they should.
I wish you the best of luck.

An interesting suggestion. I don't know what kind of impact that will have on Voip, but I do know that it will take the administration interface to manage your RTP300 and expose it to the Internet so that everyone else can manage it for you.
This is highly NOT recommended. |

Yeah, assuming he has remote management even turned on. Anyone could guess his IP, remote port, username and password and get into it. |
