My Vonage voice quality has degraded very much recently. Of course the Vonage customer support calls were fine, and even when they called me from a landline. But everyone else I talk to can hear me fine, but there end of the call I can barely understand.
I have rebooted everything and even replaced the router firmware.
Has anyone else seen this behavior recently??

My Vonage has been working fine except lately and especially today at least half my calls have very choppy audio with frequent drop outs.

Per the previous post here are the details of my installation:

1. Chicago, IL
2. Comcast Cable
3. Upload 384k Download 4Mbit
4. Motorola SB5120 Modem
5. Motorola Vonage adapter
6. Modem -> Xincom DPG502 router -> Vonage Adapter
7. Choppy audio
8. www.testyourvoip.com doesn't seem to work for me.


It's been so bad that I usually don't even try to use my Vonage line and instead place calls using my wife's work line which uses CallVantage.

Since you have a dual WAN router, are you using a second internet connection that you could try?
