I have ATT for local service and put in the transfer on 7/1.
I have been asking for updates with no repsonses (big suprize !)
But now when i call out on vonage, it has my ported #.
and when i call out on my ATT landline, it shows the same local #,
However, when i call in, it routes to the landline.
So my question is, has the # transferred, and all I have to do is disconnect the land line , or is something else going on ? |

Vonage Answer : In response to your email, your number transfer is still in the process and not yet complete but your outbound caller ID will show your # since we have assigned this number to be the primary number on your Vonage account(even if the number transfer is in process). So please do not contact your other phone service provider (landline) and disconnect your service as we will not be able to proceed with the number transfer from a terminated account. |
