Small criticism, but you might want to use shorter jumpers than what you've used. I see cat 5 cable coiled up behind those voice adapters. Coils of wire like that can act as antennas and bring in all sorts of fun interference. True, cat 5 is "twisted pair" and should cancel out this noise, but it's still good engineering practices to keep the interference out first.

I normally see the phone numbers printed on the jacks. I see you posted the IP's, thats an excellent idea.

My small complaint was with the power cords being routed over the jacks and then through a punch down block. It appears as if they could have been run straight down then over beneath the Voip equipment.

Also, that water heater should have a blanket on it. Smile

Im running a dedicate cable modem on these lines.

I dont want someone sending an email and getting garbled

I have two modems, One for data and internet and one for voice

Maybe I get stuck with the real "winners", but is it me, or is this phone room, especially the punchdown blocks, far too clean to be a working phone room? Throwing the hot water heater in there is a nice step in the right direction. Smile
