Update as of August 28, 2005

I am mailing my complaint to the NJ board of Taxation which should be loads of fun.

I am sure that dealing with them will be easier than this. Hopefully this will push Vonage to get their act together.

I sent this email to Vonage today:

Please forward to Jason

Please get back to me ASAP this has been another full business week with no updates.

Please remember, this is in regard to my tax exemption and that I am requesting all back sales tax minus the $15.98 already refunded.

I have filed a formal complaint with the NJ board of taxation.

I have given Vonage more than 4 months to get their stuff together.

I am not giving up. I plan on calling every day this week three times a day.

I am also looking into a way to record the conversations so you can hear the madness.

I'm confused, maybe you can explain it to me..did they ever recieve the documents proving for tax exemption? Cause if they didn't well....maybe that is your problem. If it was me on the phone I would have told to fax them over right away I'm not really sure why the people you talk to gave ya such a problem....then again commonsense is hard to find. Anyway just answer the question

Did they ever receive and confirm they recieved those documents?

If they didn't recieve them your "Complaint" is invalid with NJ Board of Taxation.

I understand that you faxed them now, but was it confirmed with Vonage? Did they acknowledge they have them. If so I wouldn't know what the hold up is.

Then to be honest im not sure what the hold up is. The only thing I can see is someone is not on the ball.

He says right there in the first post that it was confirmed by Vonage.

FOR THE LOVE OF FLYING SPAGETTI MONSTERS

I just received an email from tier 1 managment group again and they said:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting customer care.

In response to your request, I apologize for the delay, I was waiting
to hear back. I realize you have probably filled out these forms and
sent them in to us. But if you could just please fill them out and
email them back to me if possible. If you can't email them. Let me
know and I'll have you fax them.
Once I receive them I can credit you for the prior taxes and make sure
you get credited each month until the tax issue has been
systematically resolved.
Currently the system doesn't have an automatic credit setup for this,
but I'll credit a note for myself to credit these charges for you each
month. Worse case scenario, if I forget, just email me and I'll take
care of it.
I've been told this should be resolved by the end of the year if not
sooner to get an automatic credit for this issue.
Again, I apologize this has been such an ordeal but if you could
please just fill out the forms for me. We should be able to resolve
this for you.
Thank you.

Sincerely,
Jason
Management Review Team

Now, there was a fowarded email right after that with two attachments. From his work email Jason.Geller@vonage.com

One attachment is vonages RESALE CERTIFICATE and the other is for FET tax.

I am going to seriously hurt someone because they state that it will not be an automatic process and that he will have to take care of it. How will I trust them after this it takes him weeks to respond to emails.

Attachments:
http://smartnetnyc.com/daniel/FET.doc
&
http://smartnetnyc.com/daniel/NJ%20st3.pdf

I AM NOT FILLING THESE OUT. THEY DO NOT APPLY TO ME AT ALL.

Take a look at the FET.doc file the must think im INSANE to touch that.

I am calling now.
