Or, do like I did, and buy a 24-port Cisco Microhub on Ebay for about 20 bucks. Very Happy

The images seem to be down, is there another link for them anywhere?

My current set up is a DLink Cable Modem > Linksys RTP300 > 2xPCs & a US Robotics Max G wireless router.

I was thinking this may be a better set up?

Thanks

This is the bomb. I kept kicking myself trying to figure out what the heck was wrong with my routers. Didn't even think to loop the one back onto itself. Bump!

Ok, I've done just about everything I can possibly think of to include following this post and all the great illustrations. To be honest networking is not my strong point but I did manage to get everything connected and semi-working. Here's my setup:

I have DSL-->D-Link DSL-G664T Modem/Router --> Linksys WRTP54G -->computer and phone

Here's my problem. I disabled the DHCP server on the Linksys box which worked because now the D-Link box assignes an IP to both the Linksys box and my computer. I also have the two routers connected in the same fashion as CH3MI5TR4NG3R showed with the WAN --> Enet on the Linksys and D-Link Enet to Linksys Enet. I can access both setup pages fine in the current configuration as well as the internet. My problem is I still have no dial tone Anyone have any more advice? I'm about ready use my routers for target practice!

To Kiwiboyus: this may be a little late because I don't check this forum as often as I should. Although you should see the images now, if for any reason anyone doesn't see them then try this link -----> http://us.f2.yahoofs.com/bc/410d789d_151ff/bc/Dual+Router+Configuration+Inverted.GIF?bfGgzhEBdBprFs5O

For techguy111: I have my regular wireless router in front of my Vonage router; I have DHCP turned on it but I have the Vonage router set to a static IP address outside of my regular routers IP range. For example my regular routers range is 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.149 so I set my Vonage router to a static IP address of 192.168.1.150. This setup works fine for me but just go through and make sure they are configured correctly because patching two routers together can be tedious................ Good Luck................

Thanks for the reply. I did manage to get my setup working prior to your reply. Here's what I did. I setup my DSL modem/router as a bridge and use the Vonage router as my DHCP server. Everything works perfectly. Had I known that my ISP was going to give me a router I would have never bought another one! I have no need for that many ports so using the bridge works great.
