I think that it is better to call them than to email them. I've had excellent service calling, and lousy service emailing. |

Those who are saying that their e-mails are ignored. Have you checked your junk mail filters? I have had a few e-mails from Vonage get classified as junk. I am not saying Vonage did or didn't reply to anyone. Just saying I've had some Vonage messages get marked as spam. |

No, no filters here. But thanks for the tip and for clarifying:

Seems arround here if you don't clarify everything you get your head bit off by some guest user. (see post http://www.vonage-forum.com/sutra3666.html#3666) |

I sent them a request earlier this week and had no response. I don't get any caller ID information -- EVEN on the web site. Every call just shows up as 0. I also sent them an emailin on Nov. 22 that has never been replied to. Nothing in the junk folder either. While their customer service is absolutely horrible, I still would NEVER go back to Ameritech!!! |

That is what was causing my problems. I had the MTA behind my firewall and for some reason when Vonage Tech. Support put my MTA on debug mode (because of keypad beeps that were being emulated) it forced the MTA to loose all abilities to auto-detect the DNS servers.
Once I added the DNS server addresses back in, everything went right back to normal. |

I was on the phone with Tech. Support last night because they were experiencing a server outage for the business accounts yesterday between 2-5 eastern time.
I also have my MTA on debug mode so that they can trace the orgin of the misterious keypad beeps coming from my motorola device, the last technican that I talked to said that to be on the safe side, he would suggest that I move my PC back to the router instead of through the MTA. |
