I have roadrunner broadband internet connection. 2 weeks back i got the Linksys adapter and my internet and Phone were working fine and suddenly last night i lost my phone connection..when i observed in the Router..phone light is Off..

But my internet connection is still on..as suggested in the Vonage troubleshoting, i have rebooted the several times but am not successful..

Any ideas where the problem lies in?? Pls help.

this is interesting, starting to see a loose pattern with this issue. can you access http://192.168.15.1 (password and username is admin) and see what it says on the Status page?

that's not a good sign. what is the power light doing?
I've never seen anyone with that message fix their problem. they've always had to get a new router from Vonage.

Even now router's status is showing that it's still restarting..
so, do i need to go for a new router from Vonage?

Did you try:

1) resetting to "factory defaults"?
2) or the reset button?

(Never forget to take note of all your settings prior to resetting one way or the other)

Hmm...sounds like the firmware updates are producing bricks. I wonder if you could un-brick them like we do with the WRT54G routers via TFTP
