Forget being a Newbie, try READING.
One, DUH, we know the FCC isn't under regulation to port numbers, this is a data company, I didn't say anything about the FCC.
Two, I'm not "waiting that many days", I've talked to
Vonage
reps and I did as I was instructed, don't cancel is what they said.
As I have all ready left
Vonage
more from their poor customer service, and poor communication it's not an issue anymore. The service was fine if they could have delivered what they promised by porting the number, forget the law, if a company says "we can do it" then they should follow through.
So get your facts straight.
Umm you try reading I didn't state you said anything about the FCC, I was saying that for a piece of infomation for everyone else. If it was directed at you I would have said directly to you. But let me explain it more simply for a simple mind.
Verizon DOES NOT have to give
Vonage
the number.
Do I have to get the 30ft Crayon out to draw a picture. Oh you already left Vonage.....Ok let me tell you this then...
Stop Trolling the forums....
Newb!
Immaturity is hilarious!!! I love it
BTW trolling the forums could be defined as posting 12 messages in 36 hours ......as you have done. If you want to continue this debate take it private with me, no one hear wants to hear it.

Post subject: transferring my number from Verizon to Vonage
I am totally disgusted with Verizon: I will NEVER use them again. They completely conned me out of my 212 number once they were aware that I was changing to
Vonage
. I followed all the instructions given to me by
Vonage
for the number transfer and paid for my Verizone service to continue so that the number could be transferred. Verizon DISONNECTED me TWICE when they should not have, foiling Vonage's attempt to take my number.
I called Verizon many times, most times I was disconnected mysteriously, twice I got put through to
Vonage
customer service! and the other times I was told some cock & bull stories about the number being "taken" and that I was no longer a Verizon customer so they couldn't help me. One person at Verizon even told me this while I had a bill in front of me that proved that the number should have still been connected!! She even lied about the amount that was on my bill! INSANE!
Meanwhile,
Vonage
say they have tried to trace the number and Verizon still has it and that I have to take it up with them! WHO'S GOT THE TIME FOR THIS?????!!!
I AM LIVID.
Any suggestions anyone???
