Updated Date: Number Transfer Progress History: Required Action July 10, 2005 Awaiting Letter of Authorization July 11, 2005 Letter of Authorization (LOA) Received July 12, 2005 Transfer Sent to Carrier
I called them today at noon and asked for an update as to why my number hadn't transferred yet being that it had been over 20 business days. I was told that they would get back to me in 24 hours with a status update. I came home from work and I picked up my old Bellsouth land line and it was dead. I rang my house number and I realized the port had taken place.
I'm happy....not complaining but I just wanted to share this to see if this has happened to anyone else. I've heard the reverse be true for others. Where by they are notified that the status of the transfer has taken place but in fact it hasn't.
