Post subject: Headsets cause buzzing
I am using a Vtech phone and have a call center quality headset that worked on my regular land lines. Does anyone have suggestions on a Headset that will work well with
Vonage
and not cause so much line buzzing.

Which voice adapter do you have -- the Cisco or the Motorola? I've got the Motorola and am not impressed. I get lots of noise / buzzing from the adapter. See my thread "
Buzz and hum coming from Motorola Voice Terminal -- help!
".
Try plugging your phone into the adapter in with only AC power and not the CAT5 cable and see if you hear the noise. I did, and still hear the noise.

I am using he Motorola ATA. I am very happy with Vonage...so far so good. I have a vtech single line desk phone with an additional cordless hand set. It sounds fine with out issues until I try to hook my headset up to it. I have tried fresh batteries and both a voice tube and a noise cancelling mic. It does not matter if I use it or not when I hook it up it creates a buzzing that makes using it impossible.
I just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this and if there were any suggestions.
