I feel like I read something about this a long time ago on the forum, but I can't find it...and it wasn't an issue for me then.
When we make an outgoing call on our Vonage line, after the person we're calling answers, I can still hear one more 'ring' (over our voices). Any fix to this out there? |

I too have that same problem but only when I call a Verizon cell phone and their voice mail answers. If they actually answer their cell phone, I do not get the extra ring. Only on their voice mail. Weird. |

No fox for this. What happens is the server sends a request for the phone adapter to *ring* every 5 seconds when you make a call.
If they pick thier phone up 4-4.9 seconds after the last ring, it takes a second for the server to acknowledge someone picked up and it still sends the extra ring. |

Don't know if this should be on the same topic, but it also involves Verizon cell phones. Seems like verizon has trouble "understatnding" my touchtone whe I check voicemail from my Vonage line... I usually have to enter my PIN multiple times...Is this just verizon being a pain in the ASS?? |
