Post subject: Adelphia trouble please help
I've been having trouble since Feb. with
Vonage
. I'm getting garbled audio.
Vonage
is telling me that there is tremendous packet loss on Adelphia servers. Broadbandreports.com says servers 68.168.161.106 and 69.164.168.142 are having between 95-100% packet loss every time I trace my IP. I've brought this to Adelphia's attention and they have been just avoiding me or denying it even though I have given them proof. Also pingplotter reports reports 100% packet loss of my modem. Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone help me? Adelphia and
Vonage
are pointing fingers at each other. I've upgraded both Adelphia and
Vonage
equipment to the newest versions. Please help.

We just went through the same issue with Champion Broadband here in Calif. May I suggest writting the FCC, or contacting the office at city hall that is a go between you and the cable company. You may want to visit the FCC site, and print this out.
http://hraunfoss.fcc.gov/edocs_public/attachmatch/DOC-260435A1.pdf
It explains your rights as an internet subscriber. Take it to city hall with you.
