3:28pm ET:
Customers may be experiencing intermittent problems placing outbound calls.
Our engineers are aware of the issue and we are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience in this matter.
At least they're admitting it.. 'though inbound's not working to Vonage #'s (even their corporate #) on my Verizon landline either. |

They are having problems. I can't connect to the 253 area code. I'm in NJ on Comcast. |

I gotta say....maybe this service is less expensive than Qwest, or whoever, but I do expect to get the service that I pay for. I run a business from home. I've heard people note on this forum that you 'get what you pay for' and 'too bad you should know better' kind of attitudes. If Vonage cannot provide the service for the price then they should adjust their prices according or get the system to work as they advertise.
This is frustrating. I've never seen any credits on my bill and this has happened various times. |

i guess my joy for reestablished service was premature. this morning i had signal, but no service. later, shortly before noon (PST) i was able to make and complete one call. it's been back and forth since then. |

I am just about to cancel. I have been a customer almost since the day Vonage started.
Bombarded by endless commercials, then sporadic service.
This is frustrating. I am glad my other VoIP phone line works! |

Vonage is working again in Houston. I have been able to place and recieve calls. About 1/2 hour ago I kept getting the "all circuits are busy" message. |

Weird... I actually got through to Vonage tech support's automated attendant on my Cingular phone...then the Cingular phone dropped the call (typical, which is why it's being dumped for Vonage). Just rings endlessly on my Vonage & Verizon landline. So, Vonage is connected to the outside world, just appears to be a call/carrier routing issue somewhere. |

A problem every once in a while is fine. It's bound to happen to every service provider. But a major problem happening twice in less than a week is downright unacceptable. |

Oh, if you only knew of the crap I've put up with from AT&T Wireless (now Cingular)... Vonage looks VERY good right now. Hard to believe, I know, but it's true. |

I have Verizon Wireless and they haven't gone down except on one occasion at 1:30AM on a Tuesday in the more than a year I've had service with them. I think it was only isolated to the Boston market though rather than their entire network. Obviously with Vonage it's their entire network. |
