Glad to hear that you were able to get your Z-phone working......

Although I have a vonage account that I am very happy with, I do not subscribe to softphone. Instead, I use my Z-phone with a "global VoIP termination account" which means that there is no phone number associated with the account and you can only make outgoing calls.

In a nutshell and only as an example as I do not want to violate the forum posting rules, you would pre-pay your account with say $ 5.00 via paypal and work off of that credit. Hypothetically, if the US rate was $ .0011/min and you were billed at 6 sec billing increments, that $ 5.00 would go along way.

Unless you are in an area where your Z-phone was always online, the use of voip termination may save big bucks as you only pay for what you use. Not to mention that the battery life of the Z-phone is not the best....

Any other uses for Z-phone? Please post it here.

I have two Zyxel p2000w wifi phones and connect to a same Netgear wifi router. I can get both working p to p to each other. But for some reason, only one can registered to Vonage and make outside calle. I do have two different phone number with Vonage. Also, I have to set the outbound server/proxy/registerar IP of the two phone either 216.115.25.199 or 198, they cant be the same. If they are the same, both will not registered. Very strange. I called both Zyxel and Vonage, they cant help me at all. Any idea?

Does this phone allow a login and password as required by many hotels prior to use.
