Well actually my fax anwers OK but in a couple of sec. drops the call. And youre correct CS is clueless!

*99 fixed my fax problem with the HP 6110xi. What does *99 do??
How can I fix the receive problem???

Why not try to use online fax service. The service does not necessarily require a fax machine, all you need to have is an internet connected PC and provider of the service. The good thing about this is you will no longer pay for long distance charges.

Any advice on online fax service, and has it any charges for using it from the provider?
